    Timmins was on fire tonight 2 g 2 a got too keep him around gr8 bottom pairing D . cant loose him too waivers because you know someone will claim him thats why arizona traded him here.

    I know Dubas has his fans and detractors. Personally, I don't think Shanny had any responsible management option but to show him the door. When you think you're bigger than your boss and the organization, you step onto thin ice. It'll be interesting to see if this is a one-time indiscretion of KD's or a sign of things to come. However, wherever you land on that issue, Kyle Dubas made a mitful of shrewd decisions for the Leafs and one of them was trading Curtis Douglas for Connor Timmins. For a team trading all their picks, picking up a former 1st round D-man who was in a bad personal situation was a no lose/win big decision, and to me it looks like a clear win. And I don't say that because of last night – this kid is going to be a solid, maybe great NHL'er. He has serious offensive upside. My opinion – he ain't hitting the waiver wire! No way! Might get traded in a package for a bigger piece, but no chance on waivers.

    Even going back to last season. Why have they not tried Timmins on the top PP. He’s good at just getting the puck to the net. I know it’s early but one game I’m seeing them force Klingbergs big shot and Keefe says. He likes the chemistry between Domi and Nylander. Well I didn’t see any and I’m a Nylander guy. I know everyone wants the Cinderella story with Domi but Keefe needs to chill out.
