    As a flames fan what happened in the third and do you think the flames will make the playoffs and do you think the flames will have a great season

    I hope Malkin has a great year, re-energized with addition of Karlsson and Reilly. So glad Dubas really gutted the bottom 6+ and retooled it. We had NO skill with 5 or 6 forwards last year. A bit better this year, and better defensive zone play by the bottom six.

    Malkin is such a good guy, good sense of humor, comfortable after a few early years of stress, to be center #2 and play on line #2 the past 10 years. He and Crosby are great pals. Geno deserves at least one last All-NHL kind of scoring/production year. This is the best chance with the skilled additions. Also all the addition by subtractions made as well.

    Now, lets cross our fingers that these past-their-prime stars can remain modestly healthy, with a few missed games here and a few missed games there…at most.

    Real good follow up to Caps win, solid goaltending from (let's hope this is a viable back up goaltender) Geno Machino on a mission so far, Karlsson..how GOOD has he looked! Of course #87 does #87 things..like what I see in Pensburgh so far! Let's go
