I literally went to pee and it’s over wtf

  2. This comment will populate with game stats

  3. JoeBenigno

Can’t even be too mad at that loss. Played a really good Devils team and the refs… still got a point. This offense looks much better. Onto the next one.

  4. MikeyMike01

1 pt for a complete train wreck is something I guess

  5. Dismal_Suit_1875

Frustrating game but I’ll take a point against the devils

  6. Academic-Brush-7797

Hughes was just asking for an open ice hit there but we play around him like he has cooties for fuck knows why. Frustrating way to piss away a point.

  7. SmashYourEnemies02

Nobody stepped up on Hughes. Gave him all that space, and watched

  8. liguy181

Can’t win em all, hopefully it’ll be another 9 years until there’s 4 ppgs in a game again, Sorokin is a god, I like Brock Nelson and Bo Horvat, see you all tomorrow

  9. if a casual fan checks the box score they see sorokin gave up 5 with an .868 save % yet the reality is any other goalie wouldve been pulled after giving up about 8 bc theyre not ilya sorokin

  10. Cant allow 4 power play goals – Is our PK our PP last year?

  11. vibrate25

Sucks but 5/6 points to start ain’t bad

  12. degenerate1337trades

Edging until tomorrow night. Fuck these refs. Fuck tonight.

  13. GrandSupermarket4024

What a way to piss away a fantastic performance by Sorokin.

  14. Select1220

The PK being that bad tonight and still getting a point is a win. Thought we played ok at times, let the devils skate over as for a bit, but played pretty well with them all things considered

  15. ianisms10

That was shocking defending by Pulock

  16. only time you can say a goalie played like a vezina player after giving up 5 goals. we failed him tonight, and that sucks. on to the next. better get more disciplined.

  17. toblerownsky

Considering how hot the Devils are, how we got screwed out of at least three potential PP chances, getting a point against this division rival is a win.

    Scorevat showing up. Thanks Lou.

    BROCKTOBER never ends.

  18. Gg all around but if I’m Sorokin everyone is getting smacked by a paddle in the dressing room for how they played ahead of him tonight.

  19. gamesforlife69

Ugly game but I won’t complain about a point in ugly games this early on. Get it together against Buffalo tomorrow

  20. turbulentcounselor

Nah am I the only one that’s pissed lol Lane better rip into them for some of that shit. Showed some heart by continuing to fight back but that OT goal was horrible and way too many penalties and a dog shit pk. Good to see Nelson can still score though he couldn’t finish the hatty and Horvat gets 2 goals. Ilya gives this team the chance to win every night. Tonight was winnable and we shot ourselves in the foot

  21. DayNegative9

This team could have won a cup by now if they could score power play goals. Maybe it would have been a bubble cup but to go this long and still not be able to score pp goals is just inexcusable. The devils won because they score power play goals frequently. We just need to score on some of them

  22. Correct-Local3240

I’ll take the point. Gritty win. It’s so nice to watch a group of skilled players that shoot and score on the pp… problem is they are were on the other side. Love this team, but simon holmstrom isn’t the answer and if we didn’t have Ilya we’d lose this gsme 6-2 in regulation

  23. Bonds252525

Annoying way to lose hughes just skates in 1v2 and they back away.

  24. d9849468

Solid point idc. Its important that they battled back a couple times and got the lucky bounce to tie it

    Tmrw is huge

  25. Letsmakemoney06

#11 where are you? We have a top line spot for you.

  26. airflyer04

Totally fine with one point. We could compete 5v5 and got punished for dumb penalties

  27. lazyblogger914

They had no business getting a point out of this. Devils are legit. A lot of positives, shit ton of negatives. Take the point like a bandit and on to Buffalo.

  28. ArchieInABunker

That might be one of the oddest islanders games I’ve ever watched

If they can go to OT tomorrow they can walk away with 2 points in 2 games which is neat but they have a shit ton of stuff to address lmao

  29. Correct-Local3240

Not going to get many 4+ goal performances out of this group. Need to win these

  30. Imaginary_Evening420

Stuck at work so didn’t get to watch. Glad they stole the point after allowing 4 power play goals

  31. CybeastID

The fucking officiating was crapola today. What was that overtime. We got a point at least.

  32. Refs can’t be missing 4 blatant calls in the last 5 minutes/OT. Either way Isles didn’t really deserve the win but that was disgusting late game reffing.

  33. keylimepie173

Crossed off Bo to score, Brock to shoot 3x on my 3-way parlay. Lost on NYI ML. RIP

  34. djan242

Even with the OT loss I’m very confident in this team. If that is our worst performance of the season I’m not sure there are many in the East better than us

  35. Actual_Bluebird

Saw a lot of good things tonight. We clean up the penalties and the PK and we own the game. We’ll be fine.

  36. Lost in the game but I’d like to mention Dobson played really well tonight, especially having to play with bolduc getting limited minutes and mayfield out.

  37. rolltribe

All things considered I will take the point. They didn’t have their A game at all. Passing was extremely sloppy, too many bad turnovers

  38. Designer-Brief-9145

Frustrating way for it to end but 1 point is infinitely better than 0 points. A Team could’ve gone 11-0-71 and made the playoffs in the East last season.

  39. USAJourneyman

A couple of penalties not taken and it’s a completely different game

Know what we need to work on
