    It makes me sad Wang didn’t get to see the ECF runs. He wasn’t a perfect owner, but he was a good person and tried his hardest to do what was best for the team

    Far from being the best owner in the league, but this team would not still be on the island without him. RIP.

    I remember when the relocation to Kansas City was real. We owe CW a debt of gratitude for keeping the Isles on the Island when most any other owner would have moved the team as soon as possible.

    He deserves a banner in the rafters and a statue out front. He saved the team.

    Made some questionable moves as owner but I am convinced that the only reason the Islanders are still on the Island is because of him.
