So I included some stats for the Wild just so you could see a bit of the disparity between teams. The Wild had more shots, hits, penalty minutes, giveaways, takeaways, and blocked shots. Yes, all of that isn't good (penalty minutes, giveaways) but, especially in the third period, they dominated. The Oilers have been outscored 10-1 in the third period this season. This was, in a word, PITIFUL. The D collapsed a LOT. This was a game I'm glad I couldn't watch and only got highlights. For those wondering I'm quite medical and they shut us down early. That's why I don't watch or listen to a lot of games. Hope you enjoy the stats (kind of like saying I hope you enjoy that long slow root canal). Take care all.
Tyson you have more heart than the entire Oilers roster and management. I feel the same way. Why should we idolize and spend our hard earned money to watch garbage. Imagine you paid for a top tier restaurant and majority of the time the food sucked – no one will keep going there… this is what this Oilers team feels like. The players or management don’t care about what the fans have invested into their teams emotionally, financially (buying Merch, tickets, etc). I live in the east coast and often will have to stay up past midnight to watch an Oilers game. Honestly to watch garbage quality late at night and go to sleep in a crabby mood is exhausting. I think I might take a break from my beloved Oil until they figure their stuff out.

The Coilers have been out scored 10-1 in third periods this year and we have the second worst goals against in the league. Our defense is so lost that they are going to need Google maps to find their way to Commonwealth Stadium on Sunday.

One of the major reasons I watch your channel is that you’re always so upbeat and optimistic and your frustration is very much justified. It's not just the players it's coaching. I'm not a fan of the coaching carousel but no one can deny we were outcoached in the Vegas series or that there have been some very questionable coaching decisions and moments this season. Also, what is up with the reluctance to use a timeout when things are starting to unravel? We had the same issue with Tippett.
Four things to keep in mind:
1) Everyone would like to see their team be dominant but the problem is that there are 31 other teams in the league with the same aspirations/goals.
2) Unfortunately, for every win, there must be a loss.
3) One must keep in mind that their loosing team might be trying their best but just aren't collectively good enough to be a dominant team.
4) Winning a hockey game in the NHL is arguably the most difficult thing for a group of young men to pull off.

Well said. Finally the fans and Youtubers are imploding. Fire the coach, the GM, all goalie coaches. Keep Mcd, Dry, Nuge, Hyman. Trade the whole team. Get the 2 best goalies in the league and rebuild now, so we still have a chance. The fans have put up with too much for too long. Fix it now, or lose it all.
It’s disappointing but they had a similar start last season. Both the Jets and Canucks games in Edmonton could have went either way. Same old inconsistencies haunting them early on but they will find a way out of this funk.

This BS started before any Oiler touched the ice, again this team’s preseason was missed managed from the front office and coaching staff. Someone please tell why they choose to play 8 preseason games there was no jobs available we know the roster after July first, the coaches staff is trying to add new systems plays and we are still icing half a AHL roster in games 6, with zero roster spots available should have took the 6 games and the extra practice time and roster guys playing in games and working on systems instead half of Condors playing every night and this is the result we get
