Minnesota produces 300+ men and women division 1 hockey players, Michigan is the 2nd largest producing state with about 160 or so. according to USA Hockey magazine. So tell me from clinic ages up to the pro teams overall who has greater respect and pride in the game of hockey? Lord Stanley makes plenty of trips to Minnesota with the individuals on the teams. If im correct i believe this yrs playoffs 22 or 23 MN born players will be playing. BTW 1980 Olympics??? where was Michigan playersor coach
I can argue all day. and if your only stand is Stanley cups and NCAA titles. I will easily talk in 20 yrs and you will have nothing to say. BTW Big Ten NCAA will be won either by MICHIGAN or MINNESOTA should be fun match ups. Minnesota struggles to keep the star players on the team. the greats leave after their sophmore yrs. Have fun losing to Freshies and sophies :).Look for taylor cammarata he lead the ushl the last two yrs in points. he left Wayzata(?) after his freshman yr to play juniors hi
his last half of sophomore and the next two yrs. him kloos and nanne? who im unsure why hes having any success in the canadian league.but if he is good for him. will take Rau, Cammarata, Kloos, Reilys and still be an elite team with the young guns. Does the WCHA lead the conferences in titles?? (all seriousness im wondering)
