  1. Watching this team score 10 goals is always going to be fun and easy on the nerves. Watching them shut down a solid opponent, while not so easy on the nerves, gives me a lot more confidence for the season. ❤🔥🍻

  2. About SID’s empty netter – he didn’t look pleased afterwards – I think it’s because it took a point or GOAL away from ACCIARI after Guentzel was clearly offsides (I thought that by a mile as the play happened) into the same result win when it would’ve done a lot for that player & his line’s morale … knowing SID all these years … that’s just the type of guy he is …
he’s like “who am I to continue to be a point per game player after a million years – why can’t it be one of these guys OFFICIALLLY to finish the job?”

  3. I was at the game with my fiancé. We live in Orange County near Anaheim. We were so pleased with the Penguins’ performance!! We are building our swagger knowing how to win in different ways

  4. You guys see how livid and red sully was at the refs for missing an icing call with 4 seconds left in the second period? Dude cares that much about one more offensive zone face off and one more chance at a goal, that’s what I like to see in my coach.

  5. Good win. hopefully they are figuring it out that they aren't going to be able to simply outskate and outskill teams anymore, especially with the younger teams of which there are many out there who are willing to skate through a wall to score. Still hoping they switch up Rakell and Rust if for anything to get him off the snide with a couple goals, and because we know he's played well on the top line. Every other RW on the team has at least one goal (Zohorna with 3!) At this point in the season, there shouldn't be anyone on the top 2 lines that's goalless.

  6. The Pens may have won 2-0 but it was not a good game. Capped off by an Acciari ENG that was called back for a Guentzel offsides?! Jake didn't play well all game but tried really hard for that empty netter and could have cost us the game. HE NEEDS TO BE TRADED WHILE HIS VALUE IS HIGH. He is only concerned about his points in a contract year. You can see it on the PP when he doesn't get an assist or score. He doesn't even celebrate for his teammate. Not to mention his toughness "rating" imo is negative if that's even possible. He gets pushed around easily.

  7. FYI: Edmonton just put goalie Jack Campbell on waivers. I think he's a good goalie. For all his career with LA and Toronto, he put up good numbers and was an all-star, but no goalie is going to do well or survive long with Edmonton's miserable team defense in front of him. Someone with cap space and a goalie need will pick him up before he clears (Chicago or Philly maybe?) I'm sure Dubas would like to have him again as an option with Nedeljkovic injured and with Jarry now hurt, but can't afford another starting goalie's cap hit.
