Its WAY WORSE than the Decade of Darkness…we all knew that team was bad…..
Host Aaron would get his eyes pumped shut by both Canucks army and flames nation.
#FIREHOLLAND
Oilers defense was horrendous. They constantly hang their goalie out to dry. Beer league is pretty accurate.
TOTAL JOKE. THIS DEFENSIVE SYSTEM IS AWFUL FOR THIS GROUP OF PLAYERS. TIME TO STOP THIS STUPIDITY THAT DOESNT WORK FOR THIS TEAM
bring back mike smith, yamamoto, kostin, klefbom, the season is finished!!

Please tell me this season can be saved, because it isn't looking to good !!! 🥴
Definitely gotta go with Pickard !!! The guys seem to have confidence with Pickard !!! The Oilers cannot play good hockey until they get their adrenaline going !!! If the Oilers don't come out like a bat outta hell for the next 10 games I'm gonna loose a lot of respect for this team and many of these players!!! I've been an Oilers fan for well over 40 years and I've never been so disappointed !!!
They should try the Ted Lasso curse removal method.
Not only are the Oilers not in a playoff spot by American thanksgiving, they are sooo far behind in points to a wild card spot that it is pretty safe to say they have a slim to none chance of catching up by April. Who would of thought that a cup contender team would be in this spot right now wow.
Is anyone here capable of an honest discussion?? Can anyone give an honest answer why McD & Leon should stay in Edm for 1-2 more yrs?? This team never protects them. The risk of serious injury is all they have to look forward to.
The honest topic now is where will they choose to go this year. Has to be a team with deep goaltending because the Oilers will get one of them in a trade. Nashville?? Boston maybe?? And it has to be a team with a lot of young talent because they’ll have to give a lot of it up to get McD and/or Leon. Which team is deep in goaltending with plenty of youth & is ready to win now??
As a post with a disclaimer for length that provides base stats for a game is not welcome here it will no longer be provided here.
Oilers aint makin the playoffs this year
What if we put pickard and skinner in the net at the same time?
Yes! The team that has won the draft lottery four times in 28 years and chose Leon Draisaitl 3rd OA is cursed! Gimme a break. The Oilers developed a losing culture to get good draft picks. They also have terrible ownership that tampers constantly with their team…hence McDavid's agent being the president, McDavid's juniors coach being the new head coach, and Paul Coffey behind the bench. It's not a curse, it's ownership's obsession with meddling and injecting 80's HoF players into executive roles with the team.
