  1. Oh boy! More guys in the organization with Wisconsin connections! If only we were running a cheese factory!

  2. This coach is not long term. Wild will need to find a coach who will construct this team for playoff success

  3. Bold strategy to want to play fast when you’ve got a team that gives as many pucks away for odd man rushes as we do.

  4. Absolute joke. Guerin's the one that needs to go. Extending 3 declining vets with NMCs, who he now can't trade because they have NEGATIVE value, and then firing dean to hire a coach that sucked in NJ and in Nashville. See you all at next year's draft.

  5. Bridge year with Hynes I'm good with…finish this season as a tank so we at least get a solid 1st rounder out of this debacle. Other than that, this dude has no playoff pedigree, so….we'll see? This club needs a direction and something to build towards. If it's rebuild, so be it…trade Kirill ASAP, and build around Rossi and Faber

  6. What a joke. BG just making his own country club… After getting rid of the last gms country club. What a hypocrite!

Good to know that I can discontinue my plans of going to a game with my family this month…

  7. Defense sucks but we have a good defensive team and that’ll probably revert back to the mean here soon. However, we need more offensive creativity… especially when entering on the rush. Get people into open shooting/passing lanes. Just look at the success the Avalanche or the Rangers are having by playing like that. Of course, those teams aren’t -14.7 milli in the hole, but it seems like he’s primarily a dump and chase coach (you’d think we’d learn by now) and we need to do more than crash the net or shoot from up top. Idc what it is… just get the puck off the boards. Teams are too good at getting it out of the zone fast.

  8. This team is still suffering from those two buyouts. But I have to honestly agree with what he did. Sure you're going to suffer maybe one more year but after this when the salary cap goes up I think you're going to be able to afford a Top Line goalie and maybe three new players that will lift this team up the standings

  9. Why wasn't the whole coaching staff fired? We can expect more of the same. Maybe Darby is the problem or the bad luck charm.

  10. Oilers fan here and goodluck with your new coach Minnesota! Hope we can meet in the playoffs!

  11. Top players seem disinterested. See this team going into the crappier for the next couple of years, which might be okay. Time to rebuild!!
