    The team was blocking shots and clearing rebounds better than they have all year on Saturday.. thats the konf of team D this team needs to play

    The games in hand sure look a lot better when they result in a win! 😉 The boys will need all of them to catch a team like NYI @ 26pts and on a 92pt pace. The games are going to get harder now, so we'll be seeing what this team is really made of the next few weeks with seven road games against current playoff teams. Lets go Sens!

    Boys, iirc a player has to be rostered in the league he has a suspension in for the games to count. So if he went down and played in the A, his suspension in the NHL is paused until he comes back up. That being said, Pinto's sussy still counts even though he's not rostered right now so there's no precedent to go off of. I would say the team could make the argument that he should be able to play AHL games during the last couple of games he needs to serve in the show because of that.

    Random thoughts

    Sens need Jacques Martin to come in and settle the defensive/ special team structure. I like the 11/7 with the ability to move up Braanstrom, JBD, or Hamonic in certain situations. It'll be nice having both Greig and Kastelic back to settle the front line. Who knew that the loss of Watson and Holden would be so noticeable when the team needed an emotional/ physical on ice presence.

    I'm not expecting a win against the Rangers. Give Forsy the start. Then those 2 games against the Leafs and Redwings are very winnable games. If Forsy is hot then keep rolling with him. If not I'm fine going back to Korpi.

    Ridly with Tarasenko and Joseph. Norris can drop to the 3rd line until he starts doing things during games and stop giving away pucks at the blue line.
