My opinion as a wee capitals junkie, is that we need to stop using him on the penalty kill as to limit his minutes so that the minutes he does get can be more productive. He was never on the penalty kill during his glory days.
Please stop and just ship him away. At least Mantha is out there working his ass off and get rewarded with CMcM. Kuzy is a lost cause. Thanks for the goal vs PIT and for the cup but his ship has sailed.
People sour on the idea for Kuzy+ for Laine, but he’s a young top 6 winger which is was GMBM has been looking for. Something needs to change. Hopefully they throw money at Nylander & Lindholm this summer.

I’ve never seen a hockey player look so totally disinterested as Kuzy does when the other team has the puck. The guy is just totally checked out, and I don’t think there’s any buttons Carbery can push to fix that. The only reason he’s still on the team at this point is that it’d cost too much to trade him.
