    It was a great time to grow up playing hockey in Chicago.

    Tons of my friends who never cared for sports would want to watch games with me and they’d ask me question about hockey and really get into it.

    There wasn’t much coverage about it, but they have this new kid on their team. Bernard or something. Supposed to be pretty good.

    Made sense though. An “Original Six” franchise in a large American city that was having tremendous success.

    If it wasn’t the hawks, it was the pens, rangers or I seem to remember the flyers being on there quite a bit but mostly because they always seemed to be playing one of the 3 teams above
