I see at least three no votes on the Alexandria City council.
Two other members are running for mayor. One of them will not be in office in 2025. The mayor is not running again.
It's going to be hard to get 4 yes votes.
It'll be even harder when the inevitable sports betting add-on appears.
I'd rather they stay in Chinatown.
Oh well, You won't catch me crossing that bridge to go to a game.
All that revenue those businesses downtown won’t generate. All that sales tax money DC won’t receive anymore.
