I'd play Graves with POJ Ludvig with Letang. Gives graves less ice time and more time to adjust to the system.
every time someone throws a hit sullivan probably screams at them on the bench he doesnt play a physical game, weve had physcial players, gudbranson, oleksiak and ryan reaves sullivan is dead set on a run and gun play style with one of the oldest teams in the league and refuses to change
Dubas was given the keys to the kingdom. So far, not fairing too well. Only knowing him for a short bit, I feel he will make changes. Maybe a trade but we'll see. Success is quite elusive this season.
I hate to say it but im not sure what else to try as far as strategy. Its like NHL players just drop off performance wise when they get a long contract.
This team is not built to defend. It just isn't. Sully system is designed to score. I don't see how this team can (because they don't) play consistently. Pederson is the only d-man we have that can actually play solid defense and he is the one many fans wanted to trade the last few years. This team needs a coaching or roster overhaul. We switched up a good portion of the roster this year so maybe we should try a new voice.
