I'm not sure NJ will be making the playoffs this year. We have all the key players in good contracts for next year. The defense lost some experienced players and we are are now going through growing pains with young guys. Good goalies, but not quite able to handle the mistakes the D is making. NJ needs a great goalie and maybe another shutdown D veteran.
Man edmonton has to seriously up their goaltending, nothing beyond ahl level at this point and no serious cup contender before they get this problem fixed. Gg though
Cheating Oilers! I'm angry. My Devils team should have improved the defense depth. We got to improve and fire the current coach. Otherwise we might be out of the playoff range.
Tom Fitzgerald,….Devils defense is sorely lacking to say the obvious. When Timo Meier finally scored I was excited and optimistic,…and then it fell apart. Vitek seems lost even if it is not all on him. Just about everyone of those Oilers goals was given up too easily and very ugly. Where shall I begin?
I get when a goal is scored 30 seconds in, or back to back within a minute or two, but hearing pbp callers say, "And just like that…!" is really annoying. Do they expect hockey goals to be scored slowly?
