I love Jack and Bratt but to me I think Nico truly is the most important guy on this roster. When he’s not out there the team plays so differently. He’s so vital to this teams success with the way he plays.
Yes Jack is our top offensive weapon and you cannot look away from him for a second. Yes Bratt has really this year alone taken a huge step in becoming an amazing skater with an unreal shot but Nico just playing gives this team such a boost

Happiest of Birthdays to the heart and soul of this Devils team!
He’s my favorite Devil and for good reason. There’s a marked difference when he’s not playing. He’s always doing so many things that never show up in a scoresheet and he rarely, if ever, makes a mistake.
And most importantly he’s just a good guy and incredible captain. Last night being a great example of calling a play dead and asking for a whistle when an opponent was hit with a puck.
Plus, he’s beautiful. So.
