    The Ref clearly did not see the hit and only awarded the 5 min major because he saw it was Wilson. Therefore the call made by the refs is ok. Since in the nhl official rule book, there is a rule that states that the refs can call a penalty on Tom Wilson even if the teams playing are not the capitals. Trust me it's in there, just written in invisible ink.

  2. I gave Tom the benefit of the doubt on the 20 game suspension hit but there’s no doubt on this one. We know Tom isn’t blind because he can receive a pass and shoot between the goalies legs. This one is just dirty! It’s one of those old oops he backed right into me hits. Ba bye Tommy Ba bye😂
