Interesting fact: Many do not seem to understand that losing in overtime is not the same as losing in regulation time, you get 1 point instead of zero which is 100% better. The Boston Bruins have lost the third most games in overtime (8).
This is not a bad thing for the Bruins though, as of today they have lost the least amount of games in regulation of any other team in the NHL (8) the Winnipeg Jets are number two at 9 losses in regulation.
The result is currently the Bruins are first place in the Eastern conference with 56 Pts Florida Panthers second with 54 and equal games played, the Bruins are in third place in the NHL 2 points behind the Jets with equal games, and 1 point behind Vancouver with a game in hand…go Bruins.
Seriously, has anyone mastered the art of the overtime loss like the bruins? If the game goes to overtime, you might as well shut it off and go to bed, cause you know they ain't walking out with a W
