Judging from chychruns body language since the beginning of the season hes had it. Left to be on a competitive team and now the coyotes make us look like a clown show. Theres no guarantee this core has anything and he wants out. I dont blame him.

The problem with the Sens this year?
They're young.
Everyone built them up and the players listened. Stutzle & Sanderson made some comments in the preseason that provided bulletin board material.
At the beginning of the season looked like they didn't go to training camp. The early loss to Detroit demoralized them.
They've rotated players through the LTIR, so they can ice a full lineup.
That's not good for a team designed to roll 4 lines and 3 pairs. Considering they have yet to ice their top 9 & get average goaltending,
I shouldn't be surprised by the result.
Right now is about teaching basic defensive techniques in a prolonged training camp a La Vancouver last year.
Whoever (Hunter bros) is brought in next can hopefully benefit from Martin/Alfredsson tandem.

Strongly considering selling all my signed stuff this is the worst team I think I’ve ever watched as a Sens fan, like even worse than the expansion years, they had an excuse then. We’re the next Buffalo Sabres, going to be bad for 15 plus years.

Keep Sanderson and Chychrun and the rest can go. The defence aren’t big on hitting. Brannstrom is too small.

I’d understand if Chyc wanted to leave if he’s playing well but he’s not playing well defensively at all. Where’s the pride with these guys? If he wants to get moved then maybe he should be playing better to deserve a trade

This team wasn’t overhyped. They’ve underperformed. A team that was as close to playoffs last year as they were should’ve improved. This is just depressing and there’s no right answers
I think you need to have Greig and Pinto in the top 9. The 4 others in the bottom 6 need to be changed to good veteran players.

Dorion always went after the biggest names he could get. No thought was ever given to modern team construction. Chychrun and Debrincat seem to be puzzled about why they weren’t central, core players.
