An NHL game not having a play by play guy in the arena is just not good tbh, love TNT and all these boys but just talking nonsense the entire bit of play is just a lot.

The national broadcast sucked the panthers off all night and made the wings sound like they were a beer league team half the time. Wings played a good defensive game.
Those were the worst commentators I’ve ever heard for a hockey game. It’s like they weren’t even watching most of the game
That was a terribly distracting method of color commentary. Shut up and announce the game play.

The comment sounds like salltalking with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. Never before I heard commenting like this. By the way, yeah Tkachuk gets only 9.5 mio, way less than the Leafs pay… But Draisaitl, one of the absolut best in the league and already HART trophy winner, gets only 8.5 a year…
Have to agree that these announcers were super bad.
