The team is serious. The coaching staff isn’t. To have offensive talent like Fiala, Kempe,Kopitar, Arvidsson, and Kaliyev playing in a 1-3-1 just doesn’t fit right to me. And, they have a decent blue line. It’s not like they need to play 1-3-1.
