This doesn’t happen over 16 games with a coach that inspires individuals
Good on ya if you can keep watching this team. I can’t. Sports are my escape from stress and this team is just not enjoyable to watch.

The team is mentally shattered, and at this point I’m not sure how you get them to start playing the game differently without a coaching change

This team has become as miserable to watch as the 2017 team. No heart, no fight, incompetent coaching, overpaid and selfish players who are no fun to watch.
It’s the same group of guys who were so confident, playing their hearts out, who were so fun to watch.
What the hell happened? It makes no sense.
Todd won’t be fired before the break. He should be gone now – he’s totally lost this team – but I just don’t see them doing it while the team is on the road. So, unfortunately, this is probably what we’ll see until the break.
edit: I’ll be happy to be wrong and have them fire him today. I held out for a while, but it’s time.

The fact that a new coach hasn’t been hired after only winning 2 out of 15 tells me that the problems with this team run way deeper than any of us know. The team is on strike, the coach is sabotaging the team, and management is completely silent. It’s time for the ownership to step in, and we’d better see some personnel changes before the All-Star break is over, or we’re going to see a bunch of talent get traded off to contenders for draft picks.
It’s alright, every championship team goes through these slumps. Luc, Rob & Todd are doing an excellent job…/s.🤣🤣🤣

I am a confounded man. I was there to see us beat this very team 4-1 just in December. This is not the same team. I’ve seen teams flame out in Football, but I can’t recall a team that played so well for 20+ games and then flamed out like this. Pretty wild to watch.
The Avs are out for blood and do this on the reg, but man… Cam was brutal in this one. Goaltending has been pretty decent during this collapse, which has given me hope, but add one more problem to the mix I guess.
Go Kings. Gonna be interesting to see what happens pre and post all star break. Try not to let this shit bum you out too much. It’s just hockey at the end of the day. Have a nice night and weekend everybody.

I’m sad. I’ve tried to stay positive, and I’ve been downvoted for doing so, because I genuinely thought the Kings would turn things around but they haven’t. The team and the coach hold equal responsibility but you can’t fire the entire team so it looks like TMac is going to get the axe. I just want the Kings to play better.
I’ve not missed more than two games in a row on TV since before the original cup run in 2012. But I think it’s time for a break.
Since December, this is possibly the worst the team has looked since 06-07 season?
I don’t know what’s going on, but this seems to be deep-seeded and an issue at every level of the org, management, coaching and players.

Please someone correct me if I’m wrong, why hasn’t Kop called a players only meeting(Dustin Brown would have been all over this). I can’t say this anymore Todd was never the coach to lead us to the dance. I believe the locker room was lost a while ago, Todd pissed someone off and the team said fuck you. Whether there will be a change I don’t know, this is rock bottom with this guy. I’m tired of the media team making up excuses for Doughty, Kop and goaltending it was apparent tonight with Fox and Evans. I’m really just sick of the whole media team outside of Nick Nickson. This is painful to watch, I’m tired of PLD being the scapegoat, he needs skilled wingers, he is not Jeff Carter who was a great mentor to TT 73 and TP 70. Phil Anschutz needs to step in and get rid of Blake, Robitaille and Mclellan, then run the media team out of town after.

I’m not even mad. Season is over. This team is in the tank. What a wasted opportunity.
As a diehard fan since ’73, this is truly heartbreaking. For so many years, we had a hardworking team, but lacked the talent to get over the hump. Then the Sutter years gave us all those magical moments we’ll never forget, with a few expected lean years after.
Now, we’ve assembled the necessary talent to challenge again, and yet have inadequate leadership to guide us there. Time to make changes, including new voices at the helm.
Simply put, this is painful to watch
