This is why challenges should be allowed on penalties if things are this badly called. Also why refs need to be fired if they can’t even get this call right and determine with video what happened. This call literally is rigging the game.

Am I surprised by the horrid penalty call, after Colorado tripped their own teammate? Not at all, these are NHL refs after all.
Am I surprised that there wasn’t immediately an equally egregious make up call within 30 seconds? Yes, yes I am, these are NHL refs after all.

At full speed at ice level I could see how he could get the call wrong. What the fuck is the point of 10,000 cameras, a command center in Toronto the rivals nasa, live communications all over the country if they can’t say “hey that was wrong cancel the penalty”
