  1. Chiarelli: Today, we traded Connor Mcdavid to the Los Angeles Kings for A seventh round pick in 2060.
Mcdavid: (sniffles) Promised Drai that I wouldn't do this.

    lol

  2. Playoff team for sure . Talbot will bounce back . Can definitely sneak in that 8th spot with some bounce back performances from players

  3. top 4 d underrated . lucic n talbot improve . oil back in the playoffs easily . need a vet qb dman and more talent on the wing . though i dont think t mac is a top nhl coach , better as an assistant . if im oil ide try getting nyquist , a 7/1/19 ufa , to play on 2 with dria at center . if it works they re sign nyquist . wings would want a prospect back , d or c . helm could also be added to this deal to bring speed . and kassian could be involved bringing a cop to redwings who need one .

  4. The defense still is useless in the offensive zone, but the remaining players have a healthy season they can replicate that 2016-17 season

  5. At one point last year, the Oilers’ PK was the worst the NHL had seen in 100 years. Can you say anomaly, fluke, whatever? Even a slightly above average year for Talbot makes this team a playoff team.
