I would add an alternate line if they were trailing in the third. How about all three Hughes brothers together? Yeah, i know, not gonna happen, but just putting it out there.
I think Larkin would be a good candidate for either being an alternative captain the captain.
I know it was only an All-Star game, but last year the Atlantic rolled both Tkachuks on the ends with Barkov in the middle, and now I can't help but ask myself "If things don't improve in Ottawa, does Brady ask for a trade to Florida?".
Now we need a Sweden.

That's a scary superhouse team. This will elevate the sport finally having NHL players in International competition. We have been through the dark ages of not seeing Best V Best for so long. It was a mistake that lasted too long if you ask me. The lack of Foresight is now with Captain Hindsight for now. How do you not let the best hockey player athletes in the world play at the most watched, skilled, entertaining and prideful hockey events on EARTH!!!! Let's GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This might sound crazy, but I don't think McAoy or Fox make this team. They aren't big enough, and aren't good enough defensively or on the PK. My D pairs

First of all, Jack's 5'11" he's not that small. He's got 2 roughing penalties this season so, I'm not sure how much I'm worried about the New Jack Hughes getting pushed around.
That said, I like your lines better than what I've seen from NHL Network and some other places. Well done.

The US is somewhat like Canada in that they have several players "in the wings" who could step in if required or perhaps they could have a Team B. I have no issues with the your selections but as you stated, the lines may not have the right chemistry. Putting the two Tkachuks on the same line is probably not a great fit. I always prefer the logical line of playmaker, digger, and scorer. So the first line with Hughes and Thompson is probably worth reconsidering.
