I don’t get it…was this Kane night or Chelios night?

  4. Brandonjoe

I mean Modano is the best but Kane is def second.

  5. BilkySup

  8. boardinghousepie

Good thing he got off the charges earlier

  9. Somecivilguy

Feels great to see him doing well and being successful again. Wish him nothing but the best. Really hope the Wings can pull something off.

  10. IRErover

I don’t see Mike Modano anywhere

  11. Sadiq_Sabonis

Still weird not seeing him in a Hawks uni

Just won the game on a breakaway in overtime.

And he wins the game for us in OT this man is unreal

Kane’s great, but for American GOAT I’d choose 1.17 PPG Pat Lafontaine; he had a lot less to work with around him and was brutalized by greasy goonery fairly frequently during his career.

Yeah I know Brett Hull has dual citizenship, but I’ll take him all the same…

  16. farstate55

No, LaFontaine and Chelios are both better.

Love Kaner, one of my all time favorite players but he will go down as #2 best player behind Mike Modano. Kane is all offense and no defense, Mo played a two way game and had blistering McDavid-type speed. Kane is silkier with stick handling and has a nasty backhand and is a play maker. Mo played in an enforcer era and the redline/2-line entry era but also was a play maker. I mean really it’s so close it’s more of a 1a and 1b between Mo and Kane but Modano was just on another level than everyone else, right out of the gate as a rookie.

Even then I like to bring up some other great Americans like Leech who never gets talked about because he was a D man but man, he was basically a Makar back then for that era.

Modano was more of a complete player. I’ll take him first in my team. But for show, I would take Kane. For the moustache, Ill go Matthews.

  19. After 3-time Stanley Cup winning American hero Phil Kessel, of course.

  20. KevinBrevin

If Matthews wins 3 cups does he get the title?
