One of the most obvious penalties I’ve ever witnessed lmao

  2. twizzyflyguy

No intention to play the puck, several strides, travelled a questionable distance, I call that charging. Reavo, do what you gotta do

  3. And all Leafs do nothing. That tracks

  4. Grimmer026

Charging, left his feet, elbow contact at head height. Trouba is proud

  5. BoSocks91

Didn’t know hockey fans hated big hits!

  6. GreenSnakes_

Lyubushkin isn’t on the bench to start the third period.

  7. GrumpeeFatKat

Is charging no longer a thing?

  8. Skankezy

Its charging. No one steps up. Hows this interpreted by Lybuskin?
This happens in playoffs all the time and this year will be no different including the result. If you don’t battle you lose the war.
    Pathetic team with zero leadership

  9. Character-Care4776

He didn’t leave his feet until contact was made

  10. SixtyFivePercenter

He took 9 full strides, left his feet. No call 🤷‍♂️

  11. krg4880

There have been so many worse hits than this one lmao

  12. TwinPitsCleaner

Can’t be done for charging if your skates aren’t on the ice

  13. TyranitarusMack

I think you mean a dirty hit

  14. chickichuglette

It might be charging due to the number of strides but his feet didn’t leave the ice until after contact

  15. RoyHarper88

I like Rempe. I don’t like this. He’s already so big, he does not need to do stuff like this.

  16. cha-cha_dancer

Hey they called a penalty, but it was a high stick om Toronto 20 seconds afterwards 🙈

  17. Senbacho

Seems like a pretty dangerous hit.

  18. SixDerv1sh

Charging, boarding, being obnoxious, any or all.

  19. MountSherpaSATX

Ref stopped and stared right at it all.

  20. TarnishedDungEater

aside from the obvious charging, i never actually realized how gigantic this dude is.

  21. No-Weekend1041

Trouba teaching them youngsters to play dirty early

  22. Spare-Notice-224

Charges, jumps, no call and doubt DOPes does shit.

  23. countbassy77

    Is this not textbook charging?

  24. agentfortyfour

    Yeah that should be charging.

  25. umbraviscus

Jesus Christ this is not a good hit at all. He’s so big, he doesn’t need to do this. He can crush his man without doing it dirty.

  26. SimplyViolated

Idk what truly constitutes as charging but you don’t see it called much these days I feel like. Maybe if he came like from the blue line? Idk.

  27. VegitoFusion

Did they call him for charging? They better have called him for charging.

  28. Absolutely fucking ridiculous and people think the league favors the leafs.

  29. dinlydoofus

“Charging is when a player: Jumps to check an opponent. Builds up speed by taking two or more strides immediately prior to making contact. Travels an excessive distance with the sole purpose of delivering such a hit.”, this is by the rule book charging, if you disagree, you’re a biased leafs hater

  30. Such a dirty hit. Glad Reaves fucked him up.

  31. LevelXIV

Holy shit! He skated across three states, two provinces and four county lines to annihilate Lyubushkin. Very sus.

  32. ReturnOfTheGedi

The gangly circus freak will have a short, forgotten career in the NHL.
He isn’t talented he’s just obnoxiously huge and isn’t completely unco-ordinated.

  33. yeetmemommmy

Shit like this is why I got no respect for this clown. All he does is get slapped around in fights and thries dirty ass hits.

  34. CaptGunpowder

I’m no Leafs fan, but I also don’t want players to be seriously injured and Rempe’s behaviour is starting to concern me. The shit he pulls basically every time he’s on the ice shouldn’t be tolerated. I think he should be fired from the NHL.

  35. R2Dopio

That’s actually an insane charge like what was he thinking.
