    reason leafs have bad starts is because they don't have a coach that motivates them. They are lazy multi millionaires that don't normally show up until the last ten minutes of the game. They play a team like Boston and they will lose having this attitude..

    One change tonight that could have contributed to the slow start is that Keefe started a line other than the Matthews line (JT’s line). Think I’ve heard you boys say before that those games never go well, throws things off for whatever reason 🤷‍♂️ it shouldn’t but it does

    Note. Swayman won the game Woll did not. Swayman did not outplay Woll tonight though. Swayman made one or 2 good saves and everything else was positional freebies. Leafs were not executing on their scoring chances. Most dangerous scoring chances were missed nets, missed tap ins, and shots directly at the tender that get stopped by every tender in the league every time. Not a slight on Swayman at all but his saves tonight were almost all very very easy stops.

    Leafs looked like the better team in the first intill they took acouple of penalties. I liked Matthews and Nylanders skating . Matthews has improved overall in that area. I would say they didn't play Samsonov bc they don't want to show the bruins there 1a in net given he is there guy come playoffs. NO way in hell if your serious about winning you put a AHL goalie against the Bruins come playoff time. Samsonov has talent and pedigree man. Woll is no way a better goalie. Woll needs alot more experience in goal, He is a good back up right now.

    JD is absolutely right, you want Sammy in net tonight because the leafs play way more defensive in front of him. Sam is the dumb one. Besides , Sammy's confidence is riding high or at least it was. Look how long it took the coach to figure these lines out and he will probably put Tavares back with Nylander just so they don't have 3 or 4 good lines that can score. Does anyone know why Nylander quarter backs the powerplay? EVER! He always misses the puck at the blueline.
