I'm really not convinced about it this goaltending tandem despite how well Pickard has been recently. Goaltending sunk us last playoffs.

The problem the coach faces is that instead of having top six players, he actually only has four top players: McDavid, Hyman, Draisaitl and Nudgen-Hopkins.😇 Kane is NOT top 6, 3-d liner player at best. The Oilers should not dump players who are playing well just for Cap space unless it's for a home run. The Oilers currently run a shortened roster of 21 players instead of 23. The team needs strong depth pieces and I expect Holland to add an experienced 7th Dman and a right-shot C/RW with size and some skill that can score and take draws. An example could be Edmundson + Bjugstad ($410,019 retained for the rest of this season and next). This would make the Oilers very hard to bully like Vegas did to them last year.
