  1. leafs forwards don't know how to play in the D zone. watch Mathews he floats around doesn't cover the other center, looks lost and is one the ice for many important goals against

  2. its hard NOT to struggle when you dont come out with your best effort. This has nothing to do with the Leafs defense. This has nothing to do with how BOS is built. Leafs played like they didn't care about this game.

  3. Literally and Specifically nothing new here… same thing for the last 5+ years. Leafs need to stop being the reactive team & start being the proactive team. They need to be aggressive first! They need to hit immediately first! Then they need to sustain it. Let the other team react to them. Facts are facts you cant win the race to every puck every time. Leafs need to quit thinking they have reinvented this game and start playing it properly.

  4. Well it told us what anybody with half a brain stem already knows which is that this team is a pretender. This ‘team’ is built to pad individual stats and have decent regular seasons but as far as being a contender it is hilariously not even close, from the top on down.

  5. "I'm not worried about goaltending" …. huh? How can you be confident – the current starter is one that Leaf fans wanted to send packing a month or two ago. Jones they want to waive while Woll has proven to be injury prone – double hip surgery in Sweden back at the start of COVID, and now this mystery injury. He did not look ready last night.

  6. The Leafs players know there are still 21 regular season games away from the start of Round 1 of the playoffs so there was no urgency to play the 200 ft game. It’s on head coach Sheldon Keefe to alter that mindset immediately.

  7. Pontus Holmberg should not be in the NHL, among a few other Leafs regulars. This team most likely gets swept against Boston. Much worse lineup than last year. Also, this team still has time to drop out of the playoff race. They are and always will be a very soft skilled team. Mediocre at best when you combine those two factors.

  8. Toronto is not built to win. Boston will run a train on torontos stars come playoff rime.

  9. Toronto is the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL, will fail again when it matters the most.

  10. The leafs will not make it out of the first round. Sheldon has to go, they are not a displined team and can never come together coachins displine and self motivation.

  11. It is the same every time. The Leafs cannot show up for the first period…simple.

Young, tired kids, too lazy from playing PS5 all night.

  12. Nothing it's one game just like if we beat them on Thursday it will be nothing lol. Playoffs are a different beast

  13. With the core four increasingly dominating the payroll, it’s very difficult to build a well-balanced championship lineup. ✔️
