Guentzel needs to be added in the depth chart there.
Guentzal is a nice add… as an Avs fan, I hope kuznetsov fits in better than ryjo did in COL. I’m not sold this gives Carolina a better chance against FLA, NYR, TOR, BOS

The "IF" with kuzy is being criminally underplayed here for a podcast that says they have seen caps games. If carolina expects kuzy to be a top-6 center, they will lose. End of story.

Aho, Necas, Svechnikov, Jarvis, Terraveinan, and now Guentzel and Kuznetsov. That's a stacked group of forwards right there. With the Hurricanes defensive core featuring Burns and Skjei. I don't think scoring is going to be a provlem anymore. Imagine if Orlov gets back to his old self too, you'll have 3 defensive pairs that have a scorer and a strong D-man
I think the Hurricanes should keep Lemiuex and DeAngelo, those two players have grit that the canes need and also DeAngelo is essentially an extra scoring defenseman who's been used as a winger a lot this season. He's also an insanely good powerplay QB, I think each game he's been on their PP the Hurricanes have a goal from him
