    I don’t really care about their LTIR nonsense, but how tf are they pulling these guys for cheaper than what we paid for Jeannot lol.

    On the bright side, with Hertl there long term, odds of Hanifin being a rental there increase substantially. Could still end up here after all

    You realize people feel the same way about Tampa right? Don’t complain when the rules suit someone else, this is the same shit I tell people that say Tampa cheated. It’s within the rules that we’re agreed upon by the teams. All teams are capable of using the system in the same way.

    Ah yes, the « Lightning Loophole. » Because Vegas is first hand showing that no one has ever done it before, and teams won’t continue to utilize it.

    I get the argument, but I’m so over it at the same time. It’s not outside the rules, it’s just manipulating a situation to your advantage. It’s been this way for a looooooong time.

    I mean we can complain… But the Lighting can make the trades at the deadline because Sergy is on LTIR. He could even be back in the playoffs.

    Obviously Sergys injury is legit and Stone is a little sus. So I get it.Teams have had many board of governors meetings to close the LTIR loophole and haven’t. It seems teams don’t truly mind.
