I like how he did not give up much in the moves he made but overall I think it was disappointing. This is basically the same d core that got torched by elite offences in past playoffs, Vegas/Colorado, and those teams only got stronger. In our all in year we'll prob the same weaknesses will sink us, and don't forget there biggest excuses were created by Hollands deals that have cash strapped us…Nurse, Brown

Compared to previous deadlines and compared to what other teams paid for Gentzel, Taffoli and Hertl we over paid
And some guys went so cheap this was the year to trade a 2,3,5and add Taffoli! (Double retained)

It was a failure. Year 9 of McDavid and Draisaitl and yet to win a game in the conference final- did he do enough to win a cup? Ceci and the Nurse have been outscore 15-3 in elimination series.
With the Oilers 2nd in the league for giveaways and slowly going to 1st. Also, note Mcdavid, Drai and Bouchard are in the top 15 for turnovers. No other team has 3 players that high in turnovers. Not to mention RNH losing 80% of his battles thru his career. All of these are back breakers in playoffs. All it takes is one play and then the series can turn on there head. This team even with a few additions wont go to the WCF, let alone cup final. With that being said I thought Holland did okay. Gotta note he also got Perry. Would have loved to get a Solid Defenceman that would be an upgrade to Cici. But i think management knows just add a little bit this year cause the team is structurally brutal. Clean it up for next year and save some picks and assets.
Fire him I’m a 3 there’s a reason our win streak stopped after the damn All Star Games THE TRADES STARTED! Are incredible lines were ruined. Kane’s not the same now that he’s stuck with Corey Perry bottom 4 player. Our almost perfect lines are gone and they didn’t learn their lesson they continued trading right until 3/8/24 😢

Detroit added Darren Helm right out of the AHL the year they won the cup. Have you seen what Lavoie and Holloway are doing in the AHL, for the playoffs those 2 with Carrick for our 4th line is suddenly awesome, defense forward, playmaker, shooter, all big and play with an edge.
