    Czarnik has been significantly better than Kasper this season and has NHL experience, this is the best choice.

    Let’s see what the kid brings this time. Solid play with limited turnovers would be a bonus! I’m excited for his chance!!

    Czarnik has NHL experience and plays a solid but relatively quiet game. The Wings are in a battle for a playoff spot. This move makes sense. I think we would all like to see our young guys up here but there’s no room for errors since they’ve basically backed themselves into a corner over the past 5-6 games.

    I get the want for a Kasper or Mazur but it’s just not a good idea to bring in a rookie right now and try to get him up to speed on systems in less than 1 day of practice. While in the middle of a 6 game skid where we just need to play mistake free hockey. Czarnik has the experience not to make rookie mistakes.

    I love Kasper. My favorite prospect. But he will get his shot eventually.

    It also wouldn’t be fair to Kasper to take the heat from any fans IF we lose this game. Don’t bring any rookies into this mess right now. They’re flying high in GR and having fun.

    Czarnik in for sprong. Makes sense after that defensive disaster class last game.

    Czarnik is good enough to fill in and it lets the prospects try and keep rolling in Grand Rapids for the Calder playoffs. Czarnik is also getting closer to his 200 NHL games which I’m a fan of because even if he’s not a full NHL talent, he’s still a solid emergency fill in.
