All the hysteria by fans and media about finding a goalie … it's still way too easy to get this team running around in their own zone. Bad passes, missed assignments, "hope" plays. And I've rarely seen a team so bad at clearing the puck out of their own zone. That brain-dead no-look pass by DeSimone to the middle of the ice to make it 3-0? None of that is about the goalies. You could have had Markstrom in net for this game, and I guarantee it still would have ended 4-1.
