  1. Kings shot 35% from the field and 27% from threes…Sabonis 5 turnovers and couldn't buy it from point blank range in the 4th…no need to blame Huerter as he played 15min and took 3 shots. In fact he probably would have helped in the 4th as they only scored 17 points.

  2. Ngl I wish Fox can be the dog front the get go. Brunson started the game pissed off. I need Fox to be like that without developing that mid game or anything to trigger him from the get go.

  3. I think we will be in the play in . 😢 dallas playing to well right now and were on a .5 game ahead smh

  4. I was unable to watch this game, however I wanted to say I heard a Knick stat somewhere recently that they have been holding teams to under 85 points per game, not 100% sure that is accurate. Gotta believe the Knicks are pretty good if that stat is accurate.

    You cant win them all.

We have a good string of games coming up that could go well for us, so let's just take it one at a time and try and get one against the Grizzlies.

If for some reason we were to win the next three in a row, we are all gonna feel a lot better.

Also, I am not sure it matters to me how deep we get into the playoffs this year, I just want the Kings to try their best, be happy with where we end up and make good off-season choices to help the team next year.

We are getting close to the finish line, it's exciting being a contender for a change 🙂

  5. Mike Brown inconsistency on bench usage is horrible, if the knicks were playing fisical why he din't try with Ellis, Duarte, Edwards, Murray and Sabonis on strechts to even the intensity.

  6. OMG Matt, How can you call this a game physical when the Knicks were getting their calls when the Kings were physical but when the Kings were physical, the Knicks got the calls. I saw Sabonis get hit so many times in the head, shoulder, and arms that I lost count. Fox was hit so many times on the arms that I also lost count. Monk was a called for a foul on a lose ball and was the victim of the same lose ball later in the game and did not get the call. It was obvious that the officiating was one sided. With that said, the Kings need to make shots when they are playing against the officials. The officials can't take away your made shots, but they can make it very difficult to make your shots. There has been horrible officiating this season, and the Kings have made their shots, beating the opposing team and the officials. The Sacramento Kings know they will never get the fouls an opposing team gets and history has proven it time and time again. If the Kings can't make their shots, they will not beat the officials and the opposing team.

  7. Huerter, Devion & Keon played 15.58, 11.58, 29.16 minutes. 50+ mins in total and scored only 5 points. Brunson 42. Bla bla bla

  8. upfront, im a Knicks fan & like to hear how others view the Knicks….so on the foul situation, Knicks fans are just as upset b/c 4 free throw attempts (1 was a tech!) for Brunson i think we can all agree, was a joke

  9. So last year the Kings had a big enough gap that they knew they weren't really threatened with a 'play-in' game. Maybe this years struggle to earn your way out into the top six when every game has a consequence will pay dividends come playoff time. I for one am encouraged by the fact even through the lack of calls and rough and tumble style this game turned into they kept fighting and focused. Now Brunson should have been called for pushing off on 90% of his shots, that little bowling ball gets away with too much. As a fan this effort and focus is what I need to see from here on out from everyone in a uniform, I might include the dance team and Slamson. It's time to make a statement, lets go!

  10. I just hope we can maintain this great defense from here out, we will have a chance to be in every game if we do so. We just got to get more creative on plays on the offensive side to get those spray 3s. Seems like we went to iso when our screens were met with contention

  11. The Knicks and the Kings are both on the way up. Both franchises have a similar background. The thing about The Knicks they were missing three starters for over a month they should be eight games better than they are. J.B has been carrying them. What you saw yesterday was the B team.

  12. Jalen Brunson made more points than Sabonis and Fox combined. Hartenstein dominated Sabonis in the paint. This was a great game, very physical indeed but i loved every seccond of it.🧡💙

  13. Bronson's daddy inspires. .Defensely Hartenstien shuts down Sabonis second half. Offer sheet to Hartenstein😊 High IQ backup

  14. Huerter was terrible. That’s an inescapable fact, Matt. He shot one airball and a second near-airball in three attempts. It was feeble. In a good roster, he doesn’t play.

  15. Is anybody here seriously considering the Kings to be THE TEAM on the west? This team is a first round exit, if they make it that far.

  16. Kings are fine. There's no problems here moving forward. You lost to an eastern conference team that plays defense. Knicks are incredible on that end and offense at times. You guys are in the West and you can beat anybody. Look at the pathetic Phoenix Suns who think their the shit and what happens??? They lose to sad Bucks team with no Greek freak. You guys can easily win and make the finals. Its just about who you play if you get there and then ramp up some defense!!

  17. Mike manages huerter like a back of the line rotation player where he gives him 5 to 8 min to show he can contribute, yet let's him start it makes no sense and as a 3 to 5 option on offense, it doesn't give as Manny opportunities to score if he was coming off the bench instead.

  18. THIS is how the Kings need to learn how to play. DISCOMBOBULATED describes how they played because they're not used to that type of HARD WORK. This HIGHLIGHTS WHY the 3PT STYLE IS LAZY and not a winning style.

  19. Everyone can have bad day. Huerter has bad season. He's shadow of himself in previous season. Fact

  20. For the first time, I saw Brunson kinda uncharacteristically mad at the beginning of the game. I wonder what set him off.
    🤔 👀

  21. The kings lost the mental battle tonight. They let the knicks get in their head and fixated on the non-calls and perceived lack of fairness. I was pisses at the refs too but they need to rise above the BS and execute

  22. So many fouls blatant grabs infront of the refs and no calls but as soon as the kings players breathe on Brunson it’s a foul.

  23. Well this is what you get from running it back. You get the same team, they did get better, but their shortcomings are still there. Hopefully the offseason is a lot busier than the last one. We need a defensive lengthy guy and an emotion leader.

  24. Great episode, really appreciated the level headed and objective analysis. I enjoyed your description of the parallels to last year's series against the Warriors. I definitely felt like I was having deja vu with the offensive rebounds we were giving up at stretches.

  25. Ellis starts this game- Kings win- because of defensive rotations and what he offers offensively in spray 3 facility. Huerter certainly has offensive value, but starting him on this team now, with what they need rotationally, doesn’t serve Huerter or the Kings.

  26. Yeah the problem with playoff basketball is that the Kings won't get the calls. Domas gets absolutely abused every game.
