He was probably one of the fastest skaters I’ve seen.
That’s way too young. I hate how these articles don’t say what happened, either.
The classic “if his hands could catch up to his feet” prospect. He was a lot of fun to watch despite the lack of production. RIP.
Generation X
Former Penguins first round pick in 1999. Played almost the full season in Sid’s debut year. Really sad to hear this news.

His first career goal. Not only is he out there with Lemieux, he absolutely undresses a Chicago player in the process.
Rest in peace Koltsov.
Read an article that says he was in Miami to support her for the Miami Open.
Apparently he had a DVT as far as I’ve seen.
Used to love watching him and Malone on the penalty kill, getting it into the offensive zone, and then grinding it against the boards. It was petty rare for us to be good at anything at the time.
Way too young, barely a couple of years older than me.
He was propably my favourite « Generation X » player besides Bugsy. I was always convinced that he could have become an elite 3rd/4th line player/penalty killer under better circumstances. He was a casualty of the horrible 05-06 team and the related GM and coaching changes. But he also likely earned more and easier money in the KHL.
I hope Sabalenka has friends and family around for support. She lost her father at age 43 just a couple of years ago.
It’s been ruled a suicide.
Mental health issues are at an all-time high. Tragic. RIP.
