  1. Vegas and Avs are better teams. I wouldn't rule Oilers out for a cup, but I wouldn't bet a dime on them..yet.

  2. Oilers have a brutal schedule to finish the season. Lots of road, several back to backs. Facing Avs 3x Dallas Vancouver VGK. They're going to be dead tired and Bruised going into the playoffs. They are going to take it easy against bottom teams they can win with half efforts.

  3. Oilers success is again going to be goaltending. I thought against Vegas last year Edmonton had the edge in play, leading in all six games but Vegas's goaltending was heads and tails above Edmonton. Won't go anywhere without Skinner playing like he has the last 30 or so games.
