Keefe needs to stick to consistent defence pairs and let them gain some chemistry together before the playoffs start. There’s 10 games left and he’s bringing out the blender like it’s a preseason game.
This team has no team defense. I blame the coach. He has to go. Should have made the change in the beginning of the season. Keefe is a minor league coach at best.

I love how Keefe calls it immature .. Matthews has 9 shots on net dumbass he's trying to score that's his role so I don't get the immature shit. I can think of a lot of words about this game and immature isn't one. Keefe never looks at himself and throwing new defence pairs out there every game and expects them to know each other's game and chemistry takes time to build that is why you keep it the same. It was all defensive mistakes with the odd forward throwing a puck up the middle but I barely saw Tavares so how was he immature. If it wasn't for Matthews your team would of lost by a lot more. The athletic even gave Matthews an A+ and your calling him immature bud. Swing around and look in the mirror Keefer and ask yourself why the fuck you can't leave a team that crushed Edmonton on the ice. Don't change a thing just use the same game plan. Your powerplay is the worst I've seen it in 4 years right now, it's ridiculous how bad it is. And quit complementing The other team like you do in every presser. Jack Hughes was able to get two breakaways because you can't match lines. If I had a penny for every time we score and go up in a game and Keefe throws out the 4th line when the whole point is to keep the momentum. Wtf kind of momentum is that line going to give us ?? Oh right the other team scoring right back within a minute and I've seen it at least 5 times this year . This is the final 10 games it's not the time to play like shit , if Marner is ok enough to skate like i saw in practice then play him , and you just give Rielly a night off ?? You can't afford to sit people Sheldon. Draisaitl played with one foot for two series so Marner can get his ass in gear and feed 34 some goals. Domi is better with McMann and knies or maybe with Nylander but the top line has to be Matthews , Marner and Bertuzzi. So include yourself and your stupid decisions with putting these stupid d pairs together and thinking they should just blend in perfect. They gave up about 7 10 bellers. Same old INCONSISTENT Leafs! They all talk a good game about "hard lessons learned" from years of playoff FAILURE, but continue to play this same playoff-losing, sloppy, half-assed brand of hockey! Leafs can beat top-ranked Cup contenders on any given night, but they're still woefully incapable of actually beating these same teams in best-of-seven game playoff SERIES!!

My blood was boiling watching this team play tonight. They tend to just shoot them selves in the foot every game. They tend to get away from their game and become sloppy when things aren’t going their way. Slow things down mentally and just play hockey. Instead they’re forcing plays and creating chances the other way. Where is the emotional maturity? Thank god Keefe called out JT tonight, cause he was just as sloppy as the worst guy.
of course they are pissed.. imagine having to answer questions after a tough game and the frustration is there. also i agree with a comment about Willy and they do want to change. fix the problem and mistakes. i think woll is starting to blame himself for these losses and the D just needs to be played in front of him.
