Hell yeah. Nice to see Bedard idolizing someone so close to his age and height. Your kid is a good influence.
Jokes aside, they’re both good kids and I’m looking forward to Bedards career. He’s going to be a beast of a veteran when that time comes.

I just had one of those moments, you know? The kind that remind you of your own aging. Your kid, who still looks like basically a “baby” to me, is probably closer in age to Bedard than I am. I genuinely old enough to be th mother of someone old enough to play professional sports… but in my heart I’m still 18 too 🙁
Anyway, I can’t wait to show my nine-year-old. He’s going to make those loud, annoying YouTube video type reaction noises in excitement for your son, and then he’ll instantly start scheming on how to meet him too.
Bedard is the future goat. The only winner I see here is the game of hockey.
