    Worst opening performance of the Astros in decades. Picked up right were they left off last year playing like a 0.250 team at home, sloppy across the board, sigh. Odds are this will be an aberration in the near future, but still… come ON.

    First series … overreaction time, especially on Soto after starting hot…
    I do like him there tho and Verdugo helps also. Hopefully they can hang in there and make trades for some arms depending on how it goes. Astros should be right at the top again. Verlander is lurking for a return

    Love seeing productive outs from the Yankees. Gleyber was on third and judge drove him in with a fly ball. Get the job done

    As an Astros fan This was a hard series but yet again I’m not shocked they always start slow but also with a new manager it will take time but the bullpen just absolutely sucked way to many walks and runs given up and never helped that we couldn’t produce any runs other than the beginning of the games the starting pitching other than framber was really solid I’m excited when our rotation is fully healthy with Garcia McCullers jr and verlander back but I believe we will turn it around we’ve came back from much worse and it is only the beginning of the season

    Soto looked otherworldly in this entire series, he made the big plays when he needed to, and helped out his offense any way he could.

    He is, without a doubt, HIM.

    Now that Soto is a Yankee, he is sharply focusing for the first time in years, and it is quite uplifting… The Bleacher Creatures strength will surely help him become the Monster from the Bronx that devoured the East…

    Increíble, casi nunca veía a soto gozar tanto los hits y home runs que daba con SDG, parece que siempre quiso estar con los yankees😂 yo como dominicano no seguía ningún equipo pero ahora soy de los Yankees, este año si o si ganan la serie mundial🎉❤

    The thing with Soto is that he is a patient hitter. He will make pitchers work and create better chances for the next batters. Yankees usually pick up guys that either hit homers or strike out. Soto does it all. Definitely an MVP season from him mark my words.

    congrats yankees on the 4 game win to start the season… only problem is they let the astros score FIRST in 3 out of the 4 games thats not a good sign in my eyes, did the yankees win all 4 games? yes they did but they had to do multiple comebacks in multiple games if thats how the yankees are gonna play all season long then we are in for a long long season….
