Remember guys, this team operates in games of five. When we lost five games in a row earlier this year, we responded with five wins straight. I think they bring it for the last 6 and roar on into the playoffs

From an actual playoff odds perspective, the difference between Frost sending it to OT vs a regulation loss is huge.
Having said that, being amidst a 5 game losing streak and being bottom-10 in the league in points % over their last roughly 30 games doesn’t really inspire a lot of confidence that this can be a « miracle team ».
Six (?) games left means it’s not over, but it isn’t looking good. There’s still time for ever-deeper Flyera, and still potential to make the playoffs. They ceded control of their destiny with the last three losses, so now it matters how the remaining contenders fare down the stretch. AND they have to win most of the remaining games on the schedule.
This poor guy, Ivan. He just wants to help this team succeed. And, with not starting this game, let alone the Chicago game, he’s not given the opportunity to do that.
Johnson with an actual brain dead play on the first goal and gets absolutely bodied into the wall on the third goal. So glad we have that vet presence though.
Gonna be wild if the Phantoms make the playoffs and the Flyers miss given the seasons each team has had.

Torts just called it out – those who can’t handle it aren’t going to be here.
Torts talking about “some guys” showing up and some not, who y’all think are on his list of guys who don’t have it? Atkinson, Farabee, Zamula, Frost to an extent?
I know we weren’t supposed to be good this season and make the postseason but I’m gonna be really fucking pissed if we don’t. If this season doesn’t result in a playoff appearance, I’m listing it as a failure.
Didn’t see the game other than the last few seconds (yea) and OT (boo). From looking at the advanced stats it looks like we got crushed the second half of the game which is sad. Don’t know why Fedotov didn’t start but that is certainly not the only problem. Our expected goals was only 1.3. So we were lucky to get 3 goals and a point.
The boys need to head to Buffalo and go out and get stupid drunk and eat too many wings. They are obviously not having fun and just need to say f*** it.

Our next three games are vs. Buffalo, Columbus, and Montreal. If we can just squeak out 1 point out of the 6 available, and Detroit loses their next three, we’ll be back in the driver’s seat. I know that’s asking a lot of the Flyers right now though…
After what I witnessed tonight, I’m extremely excited to have Ivan. He looked fantastic. Had a stretch where he stopped 14 straight including some really difficult saves. We hung him out to fry repeatedly, but he came up big and is the main reason we came away with a point. Dude was everything I hoped for

There is no 3v3 in the playoffs, thank the heavens.
2 – 5 – 3 in the last 10 in the most important stretch of the season. I get it wasn’t the expectation at the beginning of the year but if this team misses the playoffs after being in a playoff spot all year it will be so disappointing.
Flyers have the current longest losing streak in the East at 5 right now. Perfect time of the season to be on our way to the annual 10 game L streak 😒
Hopefully the three day break does this team some good, I’m not counting them out unless they’re just as bad afterwards
