The overhead camera view is clear, the stick is super bent and under tension but whatever they do Toronto boggles my mind.

Refs were dying to call back 3 goals, but that would look too obvious.
Only Ekholm had a good game, Draisaitl scored 1 goal but too many bad passes and too many penalties and lost most of the faceoffs, Hyman was "ok", McDavid (-1) was just average and made 1 good pass, Bouchard played poorly on the blue line. Kane's 5+2 penalty broke the Oilers' game. Most of the Oiler team are mediocre players who score on big holidays. 😝 McLeod just another mediocre player to blame for OT loss🤪
This Oilers game is not the game expected from Cup contenders.😇

Hyman is an extremely dirty player. I'm pretty sure he holds the record for most called back goals in the league. That isn't due to coincidence.

instead of buying top 6 players and a good defenseman like Ekholm for the playoffs, the GM was forced to buy mediocre players, of whom the team is already full😇
Having been on both end of the game dynamic @ one time or another…. the game itself was acceptable predictable and winnable, IMHO a better Gameplan would have made it a 2 point game….however the game itself was a litmus test for "maturity" make you own assessment and evaluation of that reality.The Officiating was routine and acceptable as was the compete level and those 2 things made for excellent high level Uber- exciting Entertainment and thats the Business everybody is in and thats the Business that generates Billions of dollars in Paycheques every month. Lets all just take a moment before the Playoffs to thank the Universe for helping feed so many Families and do so much good. and by proxy we can also celebrate the control we all share over how and where these positive impacts will manifest. Skinny deserved to do this Post-gamer….he was a Stalwart and is dialing right in @ the perfect time….roll it over and lets get this Party Started.
