Gil, heard u on the other podcast earlier. I give u credit I can’t take those guys with how great everything is. lol They need to take off their orange and blue glasses. Sorokin should start tonight but not sure what Roy will do. He may give the start to his boy varly. Do u think he would critize varly like he did Illya? I definitely don’t, varly letting in two wristers from the blue line was weak too me. Anyhow Sorokin should play against the predators and rags Also during Sorokins six game losing streak we were shut out three times. Like I said weeks ago it doesn’t matter who plays goal when we don’t score.

Hey Gil! The Islanders need to move out 12 to 20 million in the off season to be able to really change the dynamics of this team! Lee and his 7 mill must go for Pick or prospect combo. Wildly unpopular but I would trade Sorokin before his 8 mill no trade clause kicks in picks and prospects combo. Perhaps you need to ship JG out. If Lou was to do anything in the offseason you do all possible to Sign Patrick Kane to a 3 to 5 year deal, bring him Home! 6 mill!!! Sign Anthony Duclair! 3.5 million 4 year deal! Is it possible? Yes! It is! If you unload 12 to 20 mill you can bring in Kane and Duclair! For starters!!!!
The hockey gods were on the islanders side that night. Whew glad they squeaked out a win. I have no more nails to bite! It’s so unbelievable how much speed and scoring depth this team lacks it’s amazing. I hope this win sparks Sorokin. I wonder if he has an injury we don’t know about, he looked good vs Chicago. Gotta get a win tonight!
Oh my god a sniper on the Bo & Barzy line?!?!?! That would be beautiful. I know this is just me and my imagination but imagine Ishakov is the answer to that! But in reality Lou really in the end has to answer the big question- He himself said he had faith in this roster, sooooo what happened? He can’t keep hiding and avoiding the fans and media. I’d be surprised if he’s the gm at the end of the season but it is the islanders and it is Lou so who am I kidding.
Maybe Sorokin today see how he does because I wouldn’t want to put him in on the Rangers or Preds game if he is shaky

Barzal pkaymaking wise, he's Trots, and he's got Horvath as his SUNDANCE KID, while he's BUTCH CASDIDY, I HOPE. The Islanders are in Columbus tonight, they shouldn't underestimate The Blue Jackets. I said it yesterday, just because they're not going nowhere m, that doesn't mean they can't spoil it for The Islanders, and they know it, if they're smart, THEY'LL BE ON THEIR GAME. It's a toss up as to who starts in goal tonight. They also have to look for the next 7 games, that means, if they get loser points, THEY CAN KISS THE PLAYOFFS GOOD BYE. HAPPY 🎂, BRENT HUGHES. Also, this Sunday would've been Clark Gillies 70th 🎂 RIP, Jethro. He could light up lamp, oh could he light up the lamp, but he was a Rip Wheeler before Yellowstone was even thought of. Give him some really good support against a team that is having a harder season than we are. The Devils lost to Rangers after all those players on both sides starting with that goon Rempe got game misconducts. The Devs looked great and should have won. The Rangers did them a favor as when the Devs play the Islanders they will be out of it. The talent is there, no idea how they fell out of it. Fox played 25 minutes so maybe he will a little tired.
Rangers are gonna rest their players. They already secured a playoff spot anyway.
