Fuck ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Tompkins made some big saves, 3rd line had a really strong outing, and Kuch picks up 3 points for the Hart race. Fingers cross Tony is okay and Stamkos didn’t concuss Hagel on that big open ice hit 💀.
Was TonyC injured when he got his helmet ripped off and tackled in the 1st? Didn’t see home on the PKs or the end of the game so did i miss him coming out?
I’m not gonna pretend that I’m happy with the third period, but it did make for a much more exciting finish which is always great. I also think it was an impressive game considering it was the second of a back-to-back.
Hopefully Hags is okay. Obviously he was injured but at least he got up and skated himself off the ice. I hope that’s a good sign.

Montreal will forever hate Kuch and the Lightning. We gave them a hard taste of reality with their Cinderella, miracle, storybook run three years ago. They thought it was destined and to beat the reigning champs would be the greatest ending to the storyline but we fucking crushed them….embarrassingly…then Kuch with the interview. Lmao

Gotta give some slack for Tomkins. He was decent for an AHL call up and many of our players (Kuch especially) generated goals and points. The guy in charge of the Montreal goal horn must’ve been extremely salty though lol
Need Hagel to be OK going into the playoffs. The versatility he brings from the 1st and 2nd lines can’t be matched.
