  1. I like it but I’d rather have the alternate that was navy blue with the Arch behind the blue note

  2. Like it. Reminds me more of the Guildford Flames, who wore that exact type of shirt during the late 90's. I reckon some St Louis purists will complain of it having too much red, but it's okay by me.

  3. When the blues get another outdoor game, I would like the trumpet to be the main logo. Then you can put the blue note logo on the shoulders. Then maybe have some musical lines and notes coming out of the horn. That would be sick.

  4. @post2post video idea – single (current) player that would best benefit each team
Added challenge level: no repeat players

  5. I know red isn’t supposed to be one of the colors of the St. Louis Blues, but it does match with the city’s flag.

  6. I had this jersey back in those days (mid 90's) with MacInnis and his #2. And then it got boxed away somewhere never to be seen again; I loved that thing. Picking up last year's third jersey in a couple weeks, with CHAMPIONS/#19 on it! #bleedblue

  7. I'm born and raised in St. Louis. And love my Blues. These jerseys bring back a memory of my dad and myself going to my first game in the old barn. We played and beat Calgary.

  8. Blues fans are bitterly divided on that jersey. For many like me, it is what we grew up with and as a result is loved by a portion of the fan base. However, there are others who consider it the ugliest thing alive.

  9. Love this jersey. Currently I have the baby blue one from winterclassic. Probably will pick this one up soon.

  10. as a blues fan, im in the minority and not a big fan of this jersey. surprisingly i actually like the white version of this better. to me it just looks a too cartoonish

  11. also, technically this is their 4th jersey. they are still using the light blue old school ones from last year too

  12. This is my least favorite jersey that they've had. Can't stand the red, but I really like the trumpet logo on the shoulders. I wish they would take the red trim out of it and use it for the main logo on a 3rd jersey.

  13. Blah! Worn only for a few season during the Keenan years and quickly dumped after Keenan. No traditional connection to the Blues at all. The Great One loved it so much he signed with the NY Rangers after just a few months being a St. Louis Blues. The numbers on back looked so stupid with one being a lot smaller than the other for players wearing double digits. The jersey reminds this Blues fan of the huge let down with the whole Great One trade and the playoff exits year after year wearing that monstrosity.

  14. I was wearing mine at the announcement. But the third jersey logo was different than the patch. I love them though! My dad hates em.

  15. Most polarizing jersey in Blues history. Half the fanbase hates these and the other half loves them.
The addition of red matches the jersey to the city’s flag. I am all for these 3 times a year. I’d get sick of them if we wore them more. Thankfully this is a 4th and we are still wearing the original throwbacks on Saturday home games.

  16. I think the 2 collar colors should be swapped. Red should be the larger of the 2 colors like on the bottom of the jersey. I think I would like it more if they did that but still any throwback style jersey I tend to enjoy.

  17. The Blues never had the shoulder patch as the main logo on the center of the third jersey. They had a jersey with a circle that had a arch and blue note in the logo.

  18. The shoulder patch was not used on the third jersey a few years ago. That logo was a circle with the Gateway Arch and Bluenote.

  19. As a St. Louis fan… these things are gorgeous and the boys play an aggressive game with them. Look up Vince Dunn's hit on Andrew Mangiapane.

  20. Total classical uniform of 94/95!! It wasn't that well received back in its day for some reason?! I have a white Starter Brett Hull (which I adore but am paranoid about wearing because it is white! and a blue 1995 CCM replica as well) and I just caved in and paid $170 for a 1994 blue variant as well!!! The 1980's and especially the 90's Blues jerseys are getting more and more pricey as time goes on. I have no need for the Adidas variant I guess?! Greetings from Australia.
