  1. Yes please move this garbage franchise already. Enough of this nonsense. It’s been Bettman’s 28 yr mistake. It’s never worked and it’s time to go. I cannot wait to never see that garbage uniform again. Like the second version of Atlanta, I was so happy to see that franchise and their garbage uniforms out of the NHL. (Not that the current Winnipeg primary uniforms are any better, but hockey belongs in Canada)

  2. Swarm
    Hive
    Yetis
    Snowcats
    Zephyrs

There are some really good unique and regionally inspired names already catching steam. I hope the Coyotes name stays in AZ, like the Browns in Cleveland. I’m favoring the Hive or Zephyrs, names you don’t see anywhere else with meaning to Utah. While unrealistic, I also think that Stormin’ Mormons may be too good to pass up…

  3. Even if the Coyotes get the land, it will be 3 more years in the dinky arena. If there are ANY public funds, including new roads or whatever will not fly with the Arizona public, so it would actually be Phoenix voting on this, and they all tracked Tempe, and nobody will vote for it. So, every single dollar has to come from the Owner who regularly doesn't pay his bills.

  4. Thirty-two teams are enough in the NHL or any major sports league. I would hate to see expansion above thirty-two.

  5. Current ownership is hoping they win the auction for that land on that Northwest corner of Scottsdale Road and loop 101. Otherwise, it’s off to the Delta Center.

  6. Moving the Coyotes to Utah makes too much sense, SLC is one of biggest hotbeds for winter sports in America

  7. One less team in the sun belt is a victory for hockey itself. Moving this team to SLC will rid the NHL of its biggest headache.

  8. Quebec doesnt deserve a hockey team. Heck, Winnipeg cant even sell out hockey games with the season their having 😂
