For tilapia u need the bread to float. Super light hook and don’t smash the bread on. Leave it fluffy on one side by the barb. Smash only a tiny bit around the hook shaft. Stay back so they can’t see you. Chum up the water with some bread before you throw the bated hook.

  2. Nope not Americas bird sorry scotland was around ooo 1200 years before you stole american from the natives ? think you will have to agree its a scotish bird now lol kindley refer to it as the ""toothless ginger incomprehinsible jock bird""….

  3. Are I Think That's a mimosa tree. I might actually consider eating that type of tilapia, but the farm raised ones are nasty and full of toxins.

  4. Nice Job…. Complements to the chef, she made a GREAT meal. thank you all for the time and Info. thumbs up 👍👍

  5. Try using corn for bait. Drain a can of corn and bring it along to catch tilapia. They are known to be herbivores. Doughballs can work well also.

  6. That tree w/ the pink flowers…thats the "Shaving Brush Tree". Dope little flower! (Pseudobombax septenatum).

Youre right..thats the Dr Seuss tree.

  7. Do you have a peep sight on your bow? I cant hit anything without one. Your grip on the handle and anchor point are also crucial. Everything has to exactly the same each shot for any consistency. I shoot everyday, but still wont hunt deer with it (use a cross bow for that) because one tiny change in form in the heat of the moment has a huge impact on the arrow flight.

Its also really hard to shoot accurately with fingers on a compound. The angle of the string at full draw is wrong for fingers. A good release is everything.

And the lady at the sanctuary wasnt entirely correct. Panthers, pumas, couagrs, catamounts, and moutain lions are all the same species. The ones in floirda are technically the Eastern Cougar sub species or they were before theu brought in mountain lions from Texas. Now they are a mix of subspecies.

  8. well.. the first flowers you show, in México is called “clavellina“ in reference to a carnation flower.. the yellow ones is called “lluvia de oro“ or rain of gold and the tree is called guayacán or araguaney.

Greetns from Guadalajara, Mexico.. nice fishing trips!!

  9. You would be able to get closer to the fish if you had not wore such bright colors. Use a camouflage shirt and shorts and walk softly on the bank. I’ve bow fished for many years from the bank. It’s a lot of fun. Wear polarized sunglasses to see the fish in the water. 😊

  10. When you interviewed the two young ladies and found out about the rescued animals that was a great turning point for your show, I found out about your channel from your friend Vikor from Landshark Outdoors you guys were fishing and catching Blackfin Tuna, Great Content!

  11. The tilapia family has multiple species, depending on the region of Africa they originate from. It is a popular aquarium fish because of multiple coloration. Thus the release into the wild has created a problem around the world. They are prolific breeders and can take over a body of water in a very short time.
The tilapia are also known as mouth breeders. The females scoop out a small basin where the eggs are laid. On hatching the mother stays with small fry. At the sign of danger the mother will take the fry into her mouth. When the danger has passed she spits the fry back into the open water.
Hence the difficulty in catching such fish with bait or artificial lures.
