A lotta people need to get fired but Torts isn't one of them. It's a miracle they are even that high in the standings. They've won Vegas, Vancouver, Florida, Boston, Toronto

The worst blowout in Flyers history took place on January 30, 1969, when the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Flyers 12-0 at the Spectrum. The Flyers starting goalie was HOF Bernie Parent.
Tonight's game against the Rangers may end up being just as bad. The Rangers are one of the best teams in the entire NHL, and they are star-studded and the crowd at MSG is going to be mega-loud right from the opening face-off. Tonight's game is going to be a monumental drubbing. The Flyers will officially be eliminated from any wild card hopes, and I hope Danny Briere and Keith Jones takes notes on who to keep and who to deal in the off-season (which can't come soon enough).

If you’re a casual fan at most, with limited knowledge of the situations at play and limited hockey knowledge in general, you blame the coach. Torts is a gem. End of story.
I love how he ALWAYS takes responsibility for his role in the team’s success, and blames himself as much as he does players when there are problems. He’s a very humble man. Any of you who don’t see that obviously don’t follow him and his interviews closely.
This man is highly respected by the League and NHL coaches, and for good, proven reason. Anyone calling for his firing clearly doesn’t know much about his legacy or the game of professional hockey in general.
Flyers were rebuilding, they were lucky to get this far, they don't have superstar player neither, but yet everyone wants Torts out.
No one is making this easy; it seems the best thing to do is to take it in stride.
The problem is that the Flyers have forgotten how to play pond hockey…
He's just silly.
Rangers are an insane team, I'd not be surprised if we lose 10-0, not blaming Tortorella. He's the most open and honest coach we've had in awhile.

You flyers fans are funny – without any bias clouding your emotions, you’d realize that Torts is getting more out of his personnel than any other coach would get. With the roster you have, if you had a different coach you’d almost certainly be eliminated by now

Great coach. Only reason they had a shot at the playoffs this year. Look at the roster they were outgunned every single night.
One,main thing,why,tell me why,this team we know is not very talented,but,but in these most crucial games of the season,I understand,they lost these games,but,but,it the way they lost,they got humiliated ,in such important games!Tell me because they were over run,no drive no intensity,no moxy,what does this tell you!I am very,Leary,of some other things going on!To just fall apart,we’ll something is going on,that’s my opinion!

Through it all, Torts is the right guy for the Flyers.
Love Torts. He's helping the guys learn and work together. It's gonna take some time, but he's doing a good job. One game at a time, learn how to play together.

I think Torts is one of the Flyers for life now. He has so much respect for his team and cares about them a lot. Love it when a coach understands you can push your guys to achieve more, but dont treat them like crap.
