Two generational greats. One is the best goal scorer of all time, one is a top 5 hockey player of all time. Not much more you could ask for of these two.
Great write up but you left out Ovi’s chase for the most goals of all time. Surely that will change your conclusion and Ovi will go down as the better of the two, and I will fight anyone who disagrees!
I have seen every season that fuck Crosby has played and been a caps killer. I hate him with a white hot fury, no other team rival gets to me like that whiny, smirking SOB. And while they’re both all time historic HOFers, Sids the significantly better player; not everything is about how many stats and awards.
Two generational players were taken in sequential drafts. One of them is the greatest goal scorer of all time. The other one is sidney crosby.
If it weren’t for two devastating lock outs and COVID, we’re probably talking about if Ovi could reach 1,000 goals scored. Alas.
